It depends on VO and the officer himself . Atleast there is some progress and it heavily depends on your demographics as well

I just got some ghost update
Which says application updated
And then I opened and there was nothing on my profile
Then I went back it reverted back to submitted

Is it something you get notification in your email ???
No no I mean when you login to your account cic under application status it showed application/profile updated

Got a landing interview email from CIC today. But the email is intended for my spouse who is the dependent.
Called IRCC to understand why there is no email for me. They said, its an error and only if I land first, my spouse can land.
So this letter is sufficient.
No ghost updates. Landing is at Etobicoke

Officer worked on your application today
And everything looks good And positive

Congrats ! i am in similar situation as you except that i haven't received the email yet. Good lcuk with the interview
