Hey, my nationality is Venezuela, and I did applied through ICCRC representative.
my progress bar changed from 5 months to 4 months now, does everyone here get that too? Is it because today is the first day of the month?
unfortunately yes, they have been prioritizing the outlanders for a while now. all the CEC are stuck for many months now..
My timeline:
EE-CEC- Inland Applicant
ITA: February 5
Date Submitted and AOR : March 4
MEP/IP2: April 11 (Medical done upfront.)
Application status:
We are processing your application. We will send you a message when there is an update or if we need more information from you.
You may not hear from us for a little while, this is normal. Most of the progress on your application happens closer to your estimated completion date.

This is IP2 .. when you background check is started, you are at IP2
Is it okay if i didnt have IP1 ? Cause after med became passed i haven't seen any N/A or different info; only this info i mentioned above.

yes that is okay! usually for outlanders the background is started at a later time. for most CEC, the background status changes as soon as your medicals are passed .
I would suggest to call CIC and ask about the status of your eligibility, criminality and security. also do not forget to ask your visa office. hope it helps

I mean IP2 is when the LVO opens the file to check entire application and confirm the notes and insights from the CIO agent? I also found info on this website, when some people say that: "IP2 usually happens after all the security, criminality and eligibility is all okay"as I said, it is different from CEC and other outlanders. and 59 days is pretty good. I thought it was March 2018 AOR .. LOL! my badOh man, thanks! Yeah, will do. But 59 days in total is not too bad, right ?
now you just have to wait, your journey is just started. come back in 6 months if there is no progress on your file.. Good luck!
