Hi Guys,
I am on temp work permit in Canada and got ITA under CEC.
I already had a UCI number ( 8 digits ) in my work permit document and now in the EE profile there is another UCI number which starts with CANxxxx.
My question is which one should I use for all the correspondence ?
1. UCI number is work permit which has 8 numerical digits.
2. UCI number in my EE Application which starts with CAN000xxxx.

This is normal behavior, once you pass Medical then your actual work permit UCI will be tagged with your application.
At present nothing to worry.
The CANXXX will be updated to your work permit UCI number soonest probably after eligibility check
No, a different code will be generated for you after medicals.
An e-medicl proof form will be given to you with a UMI number.
you will need to upload this form as a proof of your medicals.

Hello guys. I have received my invitation on 9th of March 2018 and submitted applicationn on 30 th of March 2018. Waiting for updates on file.

You should carry your passport and work permit along with you, rest will be taken care by doctor office.
About PCC validity, I get mixed response.
I have this PCC from UAE which is now 2 years old. I have never been to that country after I obtained that PCC. Is that PCC valid now ?
Many say the PCC should be obtained before 3 months, 6 months of ITA date. But CIC site says, PCC is valid if you get it after the last time you been in that country.
According to CIC :
1. If you need one from the country where you currently live, it must have been issued within the last 6 months.
2. If you need one from a country where you lived in the past, it must have been issued after you last lived in that country. If it has an expiry date and is now expired, include it. We will let you know if you need a new one.
I think my PCC is valid according to point 2. Is that the case ?

I would say yes it is still valid per point 2. Make sure to note this in your letter of explanation to avoid any potential confusion.
