hello,

Well, this is my situation:

I am working at the kitchen as a Supervisor since 2012 sept. Last year I finished my diploma in business and then I started working at this restaurant. Also 3 weeks ago I started working in a retail store as a salesperson. So right now I have 2 full time job. Here is my question: Can I apply for CEC as Kitchen supervisor or Do I have to work in a job that is related to my career. I've been wondering since last month that is why I started working at the retail store.

Thanks

You do not have to work in a job related to your degree program.

For the CEC program, only Skilled work experience will "count." You have to determine the NOC (National Occupation Classification) that corresponds to your job -

- and then determine its skill level. Levels O,A, and B are considered "skilled" (eligible), Levels C and D are "unskilled" (not eligible).

I can tell you a supervisory position is usually skilled, but a retail sales job is not.
