Last GU was on October 4 - we are reviewing additional documents you have provided.(ADR was for medical test and I did not submit it while submitting application and gave them LOE)

I strongly believe HonestDeception was trying to help everyone in here, including you. Everyone is stressed, but there's no need to call anyone silly, vent or bring your personal situation here. We all have some struggles. It was a very polite advise, to put some effort, with the best source of information being provided. Most ppl here, have spent countless hours doing independent research in order to prepare themselves and not to pay a consulting fee. If constructive criticism and preparing yourself for the process is too much, maybe it'd be a good idea to hire a representative and have everything taken care of.

Thank you for defending me. It’s good to know that there is someone who ACTUALLY understands what I’m trying to do.

I find it sad that so many people in this forum are overly sensitive and take constructive criticism as a personal attack and be easily triggered. If everyone’s just going to “be nice and kind” and just congratulate each other without any criticism or insight, what’s the point of having discussion and learning from it?

Of course I don’t want vitriol. In hindsight, I recognize that what I said to some users were very acerbic and blunt, and I should’ve phrased my advice bit more diplomatically. However, I don’t ever recall being rude in my tone or in my language. In all my comments here in this forum. never once have I directly insulted someone, call somebody “rude” or “silly,” or use any offensive profanities. So I don’t get why people think I’m rude, but whatever.

I hope this is the last time I need to make my point clear (I know it won’t be though). It’s high time we go back to the topic of our long awaited portal emails.

Eligibility: Passed
Criminality: Passed
Security: Not started

Timeline:

ITA: July 22
AOR: July 28
BIO update: August 31
Medical passed 1: September 15 (submitted IME of medical done in 2018 for study permit)
GU: September 16
Medical passed 2: September 27

I asked if they got my web form Cos I just got a generic response (did a job update) and also asked for the stage my app is in.

So the draw was at 357 crs and my score was 420

Holy. CRAP.

I just had the phone call with most polite, transparent, and informative IRCC agent EVER.

Just when I thought hope was lost, this agent was able to provide me with details about my application. He was initially a little bit reluctant to do so, but I told him that I’m going account is not working so I can’t access any information, and he was totally understanding and accommodating. This is incredible.

After four months, Now I FINALLY know that my security is passed and my eligibility and criminality are currently in progress. VO is Edmonton, and secondary office is Vancouver.

Whoever responded to my call at the IRCC today: thank you so much for being so kind and responsive and therefore restoring my faith in IRCC. I really think you deserve a raise. If more agents were like you, we’d be in a much happier place.

By the way I haven’t received the email that most people received about “ you may not have heard from us in a long time…” But i’m still happy nonetheless!
