See my friend not everyone receives GU. Some receives few some not at all. That doesn't mean. Your file is not being worked on. I am pretty sure at this point you have passed few things in your app, I recommended order GCMS so that you would know at what stage your app is. Be positive everything is going good.

Hey everyone, I received my biometrics instruction letter but they have asked to submit within a month. But appointment isnt available ahead of the expiry day. What do I do?

Don't wait for the appointment just visit the venue let them know your situation. Also, update IRCC about the issue of not being able to find appointment. But do visit the venue without appointment. Be firm to the team they all got heart they will consider your circumstances and shall let you in. All the best.

All right, first and foremost I thank my parents for being their with me through this hardship. Secondly, I thank this forum and people who choose to share valuable experience without hesitating. Last but not the least I wanna thank me for keep on going, I wanna thank me for believing in me.

Biometrics: sep 2( I gave it during work permit)
GU: Sep 2 ( for Med & Bio update)
GU: Sep 9 no changes
GU: Sep 17 no changes

Portal Email came from Vancouver Visa Office : 17 Nov
Waiting for credentials.

Just believe in your application. It is going to be all right. I strongly recommend ordering GCMS to those who have any doubt in their Apps. Have a lovely day. I will be here on this forum until each one of you receives what you deserve. Work Hard play hard.

Don't be worried. It is in que in on the way my friend. Take a walk. Do something that will distract you for a bit. I know it is hard but sometimes just have to have patience.

I found many people who got Gu and they receive the portal email just the next day.

Hopefully my case is all good and no concerns from the immigration officers.

Received the credentials today. Updated timeline -
Submitted - July 22nd
AOR - July 22nd
Medical/Biometrics update - August 20th
Ghost Update - Nov 3rd
No ADR
Portal/Credentials - Nov 15th
VO - Vancouver

Status still shows reviewing eligibility and processing background check.

I didn’t receive the portal email however. I received an email saying “We are waiting to hear from you” and then I opened my CIC account. In the account I found all the information that is usually in the pdf that is attached in the portal email.

This probably happened because the email address linked with my application was my representative’s. So I just copied the email address given in the message on my cic account and sent them all the related info. I did get the automated reply from portal email which said “This email address is dedicated solely to clients invited by IRCC to use the Permanent Residence (PR) Portal in order to be confirmed as permanent residents. You must be invited by IRCC in order to have an account created in the PR Portal. “

I recieved the credentials after 2 hours. I know there was another person in this group who faced the same issue as he couldn’t figure out how to reply to the message in the CIC account. So whoever faces this can stay calm as you are still given the credentials if you respond accurately.

No timeline for that however. If I was you I will send them an email just bump the request. Try it and let us know when it arrives. Tc
