I called IRCC every day for the past months and they all said they can't provide any info because it wasn't "urgent request" like you said. And just like you, I can't even begin to count how many times I had begged and bargained so many times to no avail.
Yesterday however, the IRCC login was unavailable, so I used that as an excuse to coax them into giving me some info. And after calling IRCC for more than 100 times (that doesn't even count the countless re-dial I had to do just to get into queue), I was lucky enough to finally get an agent who was understanding and helpful. The chances are slim but yeah. I hope you get the same luck as me sometime soon! Keep calling and just be polite even if they won't give you any answers. Most of these agents are doing their jobs, so I don't encourage people to be a bit too... entitled. You're welcome to talk ill about IRCC and their incompetence on this forum, as long as you are not being mean to the individual agents. I'm certain you've been very civil with all agents during the call, but I'm just saying this in case others read my unnecessarily long comment (lot of people don't seem to like how verbose I am)...
As for my applications, yeah I have two ongoing PR applications right now. As you can see on my signature, I have one that is CEC in July and the other was TR to PR Pathway that was opened on May 6, 2021 (I did the International Graduates English Stream, which became notorious for reaching max capacity of applicants within just 24 hours of opening). This was possible because I had graduate post-secondary here in Canada in April 2020, and I was working. I was originally gonna just apply for CEC after 1 year of full-time, but seeing this new pathway, and upon realizing that I fit the bill perfectly for that, I just couldn't refuse!
Having multiple PR applications in parallel will not result in any penalties or unfairness so don't worry. It's just a matter of time as to which one will get approved first.
I hope that explains much! Good luck with your applications!
