I'm pretty much over this whole thing. Does anyone know what happens if we cancel and withdraw our application? Do we still get some of the application fee back?

If I withdraw my application, will I get a refund?
In most cases, you can only get a refund if you withdraw your application before we start processing it.

If we have already start processing your application, we can only refund:

  • the right of permanent residence fee (RPRF)
  • the right of citizenship fee
  • the open work permit fee (for Labor Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) exempt workers only)
  • the employer compliance fee (refunded to the employer), and
  • International Experience Canada (IEC) fees (See refunds for IEC)
You can request a refund online. If we started processing your application, submit your withdrawal request using our web form.

After you submit a request, we will contact you if we need more information and to update you on the status of your request.

Yes!!! Raised CSE, contacted CPC Ottawa and ordered GCMS (more than 40 days). No update yet! I haven't been asked any additional documents since July 3.

So, you know the reason of "review required", right? What is it?

I m really not sure what it is. My last GCMS notes in Nov stated that "PA lives in different province and my spouse lives in different province". Rest their were no issue with points or my job experience letters. When I relocated with my spouse, I raised CEC and sent all docs to provide evidence that we are living together now. God knows whats going on.

Don't worry. It will be fine.
Just make sure that they have got your new docs.
What was the due date on your latest GCMS notes?

I'm hitting the "If you aren't seeing updates, contact us using this Web form." in my application but it just loads the same page and doesn't go to the webform. Anyone else having this problem?

Hi guys, I just want to ask you about my case, I came to Canada on an open work permit and now I had achieved 1 year experience here in Canada in my field of studies Mechanical Engineering with an approved ECA. But I am confused as I did't have any license to work as an Engineer and I was not signing any document at work. So my question can I still apply under Canadian Experienced Class? Will they consider my experience as an Engineer? And can I apply for Ontario provincial nomination?

Many thanks in advance.

I believe all that matters is the "Employment Letter" that you are going to get from your supervisor. The letter must include the following info: Your title, the start and end date, the salary, and your duties. You wouldn't need anything else other than this letter.
