Dear Seniors

Looking for some guidance as I am not getting right level of clarity on my PR prospects in Canada. Providing some base details for you to understand my case and then suggest guidance please.

1. Originally from India, worked in the US (2013 - 2018) and moved to Canada (Toronto, ON) on ICT-WP (LMIA exempt) in Jul-2018.
2. Work permit valid until May-2021.
3. Active EE profile with CRS score sitting at 338 for NOC 0213 (Computer Managers).
4. IELTS Scores: L: 7.5, R: 7.5, S: 8, W: 8
5. Spouse has open work permit here in Canada.

Please help by providing insight on below:

1. I wish to understand my prospects under OINP for FSWP or CEC once I complete 1 year of work exp in Canada with above CRS score (338).
2. Will I get points (50) for job offer after 1 year? As I am on ICT my job is not LMIA approved. Employer who is top notch IT company, gave me a deputation letter which states proposed end date of my role in Canada is Dec 2020. It doesn't state that period of my job is for indeterminate duration and my job will remain good for 1 year after PR.
3. At few places I read that in order to get a job offer (job good for 1yr after PR) from employer I need to have 2yrs experience in Canada. Is this is so?

Any possible inputs from anyone of you would be greatly appreciated. We're quite demoralized currently due to above scenario. Thank you

I am thinking you could try and improve your IELTs and apply under FSW or wait to complete 1 year and apply under CEC category where you should increase points to around some 60 plus points or more. Not to verse on the job offer but I think to claim 50 points there should be no end date. Experts will guide further

Dear Members,

I am in Toronto on ICT-WP since June 2017. I have 1 year Canadian Experience and would be applying under CEC category of Express Entry. I have a query pertaining to "Valid Job Offer". I work for an IT company as a full time employee but currently on deputation. My company gave me an Assignment Letter when my ICT-WP was recently extended. The Letter mentions that my assignment ends after 6 months, however my WP document is valid up till April 2020. Now in order to claim points for a valid job offer, I cannot use my assignment letter and my company would not issue me a letter stating that I will be on their pay roll for at least 1 year of getting PR. Can someone please shed some light on this? How do I work around this problem so that I can claim points for Job offer?

You can request for GCMS notes, at this stage they are probably doing a final check in Ottawa which I would anticipate it would take 2 months or so, the security checks are the ones that take time at this stage.

Hello

July applicant here. AOR received July 10, 2018. Currently in Canada on IEC visa which expires on Sept 22. Have also submitted bridging work permit application.

No updates after then.

What stage can i be into ? Background check shows : Application in progress, We will update when we start background check.
