Hi Experts,

Please suggest how to get a similar kind of Job offer Letter from current employer, as current employer may not be providing extended Job offer.

I am on ICT(Intra company Transfer) and 2 years of experience in Canada and my job will continue next 3 years in Canada.

My employer will provide a letter with Current designation, salary, hours of work, type of employment and Roles and responsibilities.
they will also mention current job may continue in 2 financial years.

above letter will meet 3rd requirement of CIC?
- has a written offer of (future) employment for at least one year, upon becoming a permanent resident.

If not, Intra company Transferees with closed WP are not eligible to claim 50 points?

Please suggest.

Hi there,

The letter your company is providing is a job offer letter / reference letter, no need to worry!

Best of luck,

It is unclear at this point if IRCC will accept this as a "valid job offer." The rule change is too new, we don't know the outcomes of such cases yet. You can try and let us know what happens. But since it is not *technically* exactly what IRCC is asking for, it might not succeed.

If not, Intra company Transferees with closed WP are not eligible to claim 50 points?
If IRCC does not accept this as the Job offer letter, then, correct, you will lose the 50 points.

Hello,

My husband and I are facing similar challenges.
We are in Ottawa with intra company transfer (from India) and have completed 15 months work exp.

However, to get the additional 50 points, our attorney is asking us to get a letter from current employer that once we get PR we will work for minimum of one year.

My husband's manager can give such letter but NOT HR. How did you manage to get the letter from your employer/

Cheers,
Shilpi

Your husband's manager IS his employer. It does not have to be an HR person. The manager is always the preferred person to get the letter from, because the manager has first-hand knowledge of what your husband actually does.
