Hello,
I applied for PR , CEC Inland in June 2019. Currently in IP2 stage. Also awaiting BOWP. Currently working full-time on Implied status.

I read somewhere on CIC website that 'any time spent in Canada will be considered half upto a maximum on 1 year towards citizenship' . On August 29th I completed 2 years (straight)in Canada. In that sense all the time from now till the day I get PPR will not be counted towards citizenship. Since I get paid like crap despite having decade long experience from back home, I thought maybe I could work somewhere else and get paid better.

Recently I got an opportunity for a contract job in EU. The company will be sponsoring my visa. I meet all requirements. Paperwork is ready but not submitted.

My questions and Concerns:
1. Do I need to stay in Canada untill I get PPR.
2. How long after getting PPR is it valid. because the company may extend my contract.
3. After PPR is approved, there is a stage where I have to submit my passport. Can I send my passport from EU or alternatively send it to a friend and he/she could send it to CIC.
4. After everything is done, I believe there is a flag polling process. How long can it wait? Can I do it after 3-4 months after PR?

Thank you for all your responses.

No, after you applied for CEC, no matter where you stay, you will get your PPR
2. How long after getting PPR is it valid. because the company may extend my contract.
valid as in? question not clear

PPR let alone stands for Passport request, so after your PR is approved you need to submit it yourself, raise CSE when you get PPR to submit your passport where you reside.

you can flagpole or softland till your medical expiration.
Thank you for all your responses.

No. But you do need to inform IRCC about your change in residence (via the webform).

2. How long after getting PPR is it valid. because the company may extend my contract.
??? When you get the request you usually have about 1 month to send your passport (this does seem to vary). You can request an extension if necessary.

3. After PPR is approved, there is a stage where I have to submit my passport. Can I send my passport from EU or alternatively send it to a friend and he/she could send it to CIC.
Either would work, or you could also request a change of visa office (at the same time you submit your change of address) to the one serving the country where you are moving to -
https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/contact-ircc/offices/international-visa-offices.html

Flagpoling is only for those who want to go to a land POE at the US border. You can also land at any international airport, when you return to Canada with your COPR. You are not a PR until you complete the landing.

After you get your passport back with the COPR, there will be a date on it which is your deadline to land. This usually corresponds to one year from the date of your medical exam, but it does vary in how much time you have to land.

Thank you for the answers.
For #2, my question was how long is COPR valid. I gave medicals on 8th June and Passed medicals on 17th July.
