As far as I believe, RCMP (background check in Canada) is done by CIC and you don't need to unless they ask you to submit. For all other countries you have lived in, you will have to submit PCC.thanuxxi said:Guys, for those who got PPR.. were you requested to provide a police clearance certificate from Canada too?
I have been here for 2 years now and on the checklist, they stated to wait until requested.
I was just curious if it is mandatory for everyone
That’s great, many thanks!vineshparekh said:As far as I believe, RCMP (background check in Canada) is done by CIC and you don't need to unless they ask you to submit. For all other countries you have lived in, you will have to submit PCC.
No...CEC still exists for those of us who have work experience within Canada. FSW still exists for those who want to apply from outside of Canada. What Express Entry essentially does is it changes the way that people are chosen to apply for these Federal categories. Before it was a first comes, first serve type deal..where as now, you have to meet a set of criteria too apply and must also be explicitly authorized to apply (ITA). Once you get the ITA, everything is pretty much the same except now it's all digital and applications get processed much faster. Hope that helps.andy108 said:Guys, have a question has been CEC replaced by Expree Entry system or am i not understanding something?
