CEC IELTS Score 5.5

I am on the same sailing boat.I am here in Canada on closed LMIA Skill level NOC B-6211 Retail sales Supervisor.what would be the language requirement to apply under CEC .My consultant said I need to score at least Clb 7 in all modules in language test.But I read on website it says clb 5.I am really confused what is the score requirement.

NOC B - CLB 5 is the minimum.

However, simply getting the minimum is probably not going to get you enough points even with Canadian experience. That may be what your consultant is referring to.

Alternatively, your consultant isn't very good and you should get a new one.

Hope this lower IELTS score wont be problem for PNP applications. Isn't it?
