HI There

My CEC got rejected last month. The following are quick note about myself and rejected reasons:

November, 2010: graduated from Master Degree
June, 2011: Graduation Ceremony
Feb 2011 to July 2012: fulltime
July 2012: Submit CEC application
Aug 2012: Got file number
May 2013: Officer asked me to submit more documents because they couldn’t access to my company website.
July 2013: Rejected

“Your application was assessed based on the occupation which you identified as part of your skilled work experience in Canada: education program coordinator (NOC 4166).
I am not satisfied that you meet the skilled work experience requirement. Based on the documentation submitted, you do not meet employment requirements as your employment is not consistent with the lead statement contained in NOC 4166 education policy researchers, consultants and program officers, that is, conduct research, produce reports and administer elementary, secondary and post-secondary education policies and programs.
According to XXXX’s business licence, XXXX is an employment agency/recruiting service and this is supported further in their website which states that XXXX is a recruiting/employment agency recruiting primarily English teachers to provide English and tutoring services.
Following an examination of your application, I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of the Act and Regulations for the reasons explained above. I am therefore refusing your application.

I think the rejected reason is they doubt my work experience. The officer thought my work title (education program coordinator) cannot be existing in my company because my company is a recruiting/employment agency instead of schools or institutes.

My PGWP will expire March 2014

Question 1: Is there possibility to submit my same application again?
Because I was really working there and doing almost the same stuff according NOC 4166. I don’t know the business range in the business license. Also, it is true that we only list recruiting/employment agency on the English website. However, on the other language websites, we clarify that we are not only an agency but also we have different campus and students can take class here.

Question 2: Can I submit a new application using new work experience with different titles?
I have quitted my last job since I submitted my CEC application. During the November 2012 to April 2013, I worked in another tutoring school as part time Educational coordinator, but more than 30 hrs per week. From May 2013 to present, I have been working in a Education company as administrator.

Question 3: Could you give me some suggestions on how can I continue working to get immigration status if my PGWP expire next year? I read that people can’t consecutive working in Canada over 4 yrs.

Thank guys

Did u order your gcms note?

if u could, can u post your job duty?

Can u kindly tell us what your main duties and reponsibilities WERE when you submitted last july 2012? It can make us understand what NOC code or title you should have used. I think (just my opinion), you could have chosen a code more appropriate for your job. I'm guessing u were also on open WP during that time and without a specific code on your permit?

But base on your dates, you may still use your experiences 3 yrs prior to resubmission of app. Mention all your work exp to date. You are more than qualified if u apply now.

Just make sure u have the corrected and new reference letters mentioning the NOC code and title (duties etc) that best suits you.

Good luck.

why not PNP with Masters degree? its more secure and straightforward?

Hi..

Thanks for you reply. Someone told me only immigrant or citizenship can order GCMS. Is that correct? Thanks

If you are in Canada, doesn't matter if you are a student, worker, implied status you can apply for GCMS request....

If you are not in Canada, then you have to give authorization to someone you know to apply for that request.

Btw it's free of cost..

I think I gave money to wrong person...:-( As you know, I got rejected and I found immigration consultant who told me I need find permanent resident to order it....so frustrating...

Another question you may can help. Is it possible that I use two different titles to reapply CEC? Thanks

what? did the immigration consultant charge your money for order the note ?? How much did you pay him ?

There's two kinds: Access to Information Act and the Privacy Act
Privacy Act is if you are in Canada and it's free.
Access to Information Act is if you're outside canada and you need someone in canada to apply for you. This one is $5

No. I mean I "Hire" a immigration consultant and she will help me to resubmit the new application. Not just for ordering the note. Cross fingers.

You can stay in canada for more than 4 years if your job falls under NOC 0,A. But you have to apply for LMO and another close work permit which says your NOC is 0 or A.

If one work like 3 years on open/post gradute work permit, then apply for new work permit With NOC-B Lmo then he will get only 1 yr work permit.

Basically total 4 concecutive years one can live in canada on temporary worker status, If your job is NOT under NOC: O or A
