HI There
My CEC got rejected last month. The following are quick note about myself and rejected reasons:
November, 2010: graduated from Master Degree
June, 2011: Graduation Ceremony
Feb 2011 to July 2012: fulltime
July 2012: Submit CEC application
Aug 2012: Got file number
May 2013: Officer asked me to submit more documents because they couldn’t access to my company website.
July 2013: Rejected
“Your application was assessed based on the occupation which you identified as part of your skilled work experience in Canada: education program coordinator (NOC 4166).
I am not satisfied that you meet the skilled work experience requirement. Based on the documentation submitted, you do not meet employment requirements as your employment is not consistent with the lead statement contained in NOC 4166 education policy researchers, consultants and program officers, that is, conduct research, produce reports and administer elementary, secondary and post-secondary education policies and programs.
According to XXXX’s business licence, XXXX is an employment agency/recruiting service and this is supported further in their website which states that XXXX is a recruiting/employment agency recruiting primarily English teachers to provide English and tutoring services.
Following an examination of your application, I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of the Act and Regulations for the reasons explained above. I am therefore refusing your application.
I think the rejected reason is they doubt my work experience. The officer thought my work title (education program coordinator) cannot be existing in my company because my company is a recruiting/employment agency instead of schools or institutes.
My PGWP will expire March 2014
Question 1: Is there possibility to submit my same application again?
Because I was really working there and doing almost the same stuff according NOC 4166. I don’t know the business range in the business license. Also, it is true that we only list recruiting/employment agency on the English website. However, on the other language websites, we clarify that we are not only an agency but also we have different campus and students can take class here.
Question 2: Can I submit a new application using new work experience with different titles?
I have quitted my last job since I submitted my CEC application. During the November 2012 to April 2013, I worked in another tutoring school as part time Educational coordinator, but more than 30 hrs per week. From May 2013 to present, I have been working in a Education company as administrator.
Question 3: Could you give me some suggestions on how can I continue working to get immigration status if my PGWP expire next year? I read that people can’t consecutive working in Canada over 4 yrs.
Thank guys
