Hey there,

I recently received my invitation to apply through the CEC stream. My question is regarding funds. I was told it was ok to say you had below the $12,000 needed to qualify for FSW if you wanted to ensure you were going to get into the CEC stream. Now as I am finishing my application I see I am being asked to show my bank history in Canada (bank statements etc). I am wondering will it be a problem when it's seen I actually have over the $12,000 when I said I had much less (i.e. $7,000)

Thanks

Not a problem at all. You did not try to cheat the system. That's all that matters. If you had less than $7000 at the time of ITA, that would be a cause of concern.

The whole point of POF is that CIC wants to verify that you can support yourself being in Canada. It's not a problem if you can show more than you declared.

I agree - it won't be a problem.

Hello everyone,
I have a question and I would like some advise because I'm confuse
I have job offer and I received positive LMIA to support my application for permanent resident and I got invitation under the Canadian Experience Class
The thing is that I'm not aloud to work because of those 4 year and I changed my status to Visitor
Because I'm a Visitor and I'm not authorized to work in Canada I will must have to show that I have enough money to support yourself ?
I'm in Canada,I have job offer and LMIA but I'm not authorized to work so that's mean that I have to prove the money?
Some advise,please.
Thank you.

Hi Friends,

I am quite opposite to the above situation. I have got invitation from CIC. I have some questions in filling the application:

1. How much money you bring to Canada:
1. Is it acceptable to show balance from primary and dependent account separately to CIC (and upload as same document)?, since we don't have common account and my individual bank balance is less than specified($15000).
2. Also when filling application I have mentioned $25000. If I change this to $15000 whether it will get any impact?

2. Travel history:
"Provide details of any trips <Applicant_NAME> has taken outside his/her country of origin or of residence in the last ten years (or since his/her 18th birthday if this was less than ten years ago). Include all trips: tourism, business, training, etc.
You can tell us about each trip by filling in the fields below. "

I am an Indian and lives in Canada since last two years. I have never been travelled to any other country.
Whether I need to choose "Yes" or "No" for this question?.

Thanks!
