I am currently a student in Computer Science in Canada and my spouse is working a full-time permanent (NOC C) job. I am on study permit and my spouse is on open work permit.
Our initial plan was to apply for PR in CEC (or FSW) after completing my studies and get a full-time job software engineering job (I have multiple years of experience). But since my studies is taking longer than usual, we are also exploring other pathways and planning to apply for PNP (MPNP, we are currently residing in Manitoba) through my spouse's job experience.
Now my question is, can we apply for CEC/FSW pathways after starting the PNP process or is it that once we start the PNP process we would be stuck with it?
PS. Apologies if it is a naive question. I found a few posts regarding this here but they were dated back in 2013, so wanted an up-to-date opinion form you guys!
