Hi All,

Need some suggestions. I live in Toronto, Canada and my spouse is in India. I have received PPR mail. It mentioned that me and my dependent have to submit passport in CPC – Ottawa. Can someone confirm if my spouse need to send her passport in India (Canada Embassy - New Delhi, India) and I will send my passport at CPC – Ottawa? If so, should I get another passport request separately for my Spouse?
I submitted an 'IRCC Webform' with my query today. Wondering if someone can give me a lead.

While waiting for PPR, I applied Visitor & SOWP for my spouse but both got rejected.

Does it have any impact on the PR file in process.

I would appreciate a reply from the senior members & experts of our forum.

Also tentatively how much more time Montreal office would take for PPR!

Same timeline @ Edmonton office too. My decision will be finilize by 1 oct instead 22 August. I received GCMS note and found VO reduce my points. But it is a mistake and

I was in similar situation as yours, I m in Toronto and wife in other country,

PPR - 27th June, submitted wife related query on the same day,

8th July, I submitted my Passport to Ottawa, again submitted a similar query with Wife's UCI number and other details mentioned,

It was good that you have emailed on the same day but make sure you have given wife's UCI number and details too in the message query,

23rd July, I got a request letter today in my CIC account for submission of passport to nearest VFS in the country of wife's residence.

Inland application CEC
No emails since April 7 and no changes in comments on online application in months. I have been reading this thread, but I am not understanding the “ghost alerts” and IP1 and IP2. Some persons close to my AOR are getting Passport request and others are being told October / December. Any insights on what causes the difference?

For me 34 days remaining.
just recently submitted RCMP criminal record check .
Not sure when to expect PPR.

in May called CIC, they told same thing Security start pending!
Jul 23rd : I saw a ghost update like my application got updated,
but nothing updated within application till now, will be calling CIC today.
Days remaining : 29 days

Edit/update: called CIC just before, they told my application completed all the stages and waiting to send the decision notification :)

Anyone in same situation now? usually how long it may take to get the final decision notification? my file is sitting in Edmonton office.
