CEC - is based on your past experience so anything you would do post application does not matter to CIC.CanadaSAP said:If I applied PR while working with employer XXX and later joined a new employer YYY (when the PR is under process), would there be
any implications in future like queries if any from Immigration?
This would be easier to answer if you would state what the concern is. CIC will verify your work experience, which means they could contact your former employer. Your work experience (and employer) after you apply are irrelevant to the CEC class.CanadaSAP said:If I applied PR while working with employer XXX and later joined a new employer YYY (when the PR is under process), would there be any implications in future like queries if any from Immigration?
Technically it doesn't matter who you work for after you apply, as CEC considers only your past experience. But if you have to leave, I would suggest you leave your current employer with good terms (Don't burn the bridge you just passed, like they say), because you might need them to verify your duties with them, should CEC decide to contact them.CanadaSAP said:I appreciate you all for the response.
I had applied for PR under CEC last month and planning to quit my current employer, If I get a suitable opportunity.
Or you guys suggest me to stick to my current employer for another 7 to 8 months till the completion PR process, so that any queries that comes out processing, can be followed up with the current employer?
