CEC employer eligibility creteria

Hi to everyone

What is the employer eligibility creteria ? Under which i can apply for cec as i have got job offer from bc employer

My question is
What should be the minimum wage for the supervisor ?
How much tax should be paid at the end of the year
How many emplyees should be working in the company?
Ielts band requirement
Do i have to complete 1920 hour or 12 months ?

4. Minimum 6 each for noc codes 1211, 1212, 1213, 1214, 1215 (group B)

5. First requirement is hours ie 1920 which is a must.Secondly it is highly recommended to complete 1 year to be on safe side.

Job is assistant site supervisor (construction industry)

I found several possibilities. It will depend on your job duties as HRSDC determines them to fit. There is no "assistant site supervisor" job title in the NOC codes, so you have to match what fits best.

7204 Contractors and supervisors, carpentry trades foreman/woman, residential construction

general foreman/woman – building construction

general foreman/woman, residential construction

general supervisor – building construction

general supervisor – residential construction

residential construction foreman/woman

residential construction supervisor

supervisor, residential construction


7205 Contractors and supervisors, other construction trades, installers, repairers and servicers construction painters foreman/woman

construction painters supervisor

customer service supervisor – housing construction

decorating foreman/woman – construction

foreman/woman, construction painters

foreman/woman, painters – construction

painter foreman/woman – construction

painting supervisor – construction

supervisor, construction painters

Just two possible NOC codes. Check the LMO. It should list the NOC.

Hi Mamba07,

Great explanation however should not the minimum hours be 1560 instead of 1920? As 52 weeks of work and per week minimum of 30 hours is required.

According to cic site- http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/apply-who.asp

"You must have at least 12 months of full-time, or an equal amount in part-time, skilled work experience. Full-time work means at least 30 hours of paid work per week."

Pls correct me , if I'm wrong.

Secondly , the employer who is giving me a job wants to expand his business and currently there are 3 employees working , can i start my employment under him and apply under cec . Or no Need Help here

What is the minimum criteria of employer to work under ?

Easy Noc Codes -

1) Use the link in my previous post

2 A, B or 0?

0XXX = NOC 0
X1XXX = NOC A
X2XXX = NOC B

Most programs only give immigration to A, B, or 0. Some do give to "C" but only in certain jobs and provinces or the new Federal Skilled Trades.

X3XXX = NOC C

C is general "Semi-Skilled" or "Tradesman"

D or below is "Unskilled"
