CEC eligibility and points change

Hi all, I'm currently outland CEC and FSW eligible 440 points.

My Canadian work experience was July 2013 - Dec 2014.

I think I know the answer to this but as the rule for CEC is 1 year within the last 3 years, my eligibility for CEC will be revoked in Dec 2016 (as after that date it won't be a whole year of work in 3 years).

My question is do I loose the points as well for Canadian work experience, or do they stay?

If I remember well, then under FSW programm you will still keep them. Furthermore there are provinces where you can use that as ties to Canada.

Thank you - I haven't found a clear cut answer. I'm hoping that the CEC (if it is being removed in Dec) happens promptly, as I would hate to be invited in say, feb, under CEC only to find after a few months I'm refused because the system didn't update it time.

IN FSW CRS system you can get points for up to 5 years of Canadian experience. It would beat the purpose to have points for that if your experience would expire within 3 years.

Yes, that's for FSW. I'm talking about CEC which only counts if you have 1 year of experience in 3.

Currently you are eligible both in FSW and CEC from January you will be only eligible in FSW, but you will still keep points in CRS for your Canadian experience.

Technicaly you can be eligible in more than one stream. You just need to be eligible in 1 in order to keep active profile in EE

Thanks, I'm aware of all that. I have been valid for two streams since Jan 2015. I just wanted to ask if I also lost Canada points once I am no longer eligible for CEC. You've says that I don't. Great.
