CEC EE Declined as ineligible (Captures)

Hi,

I created my profile but didn't get in the pool that I am ineligible for CEC.
FSW, I am already aware I don't have 66 points so I am targeting CEC.

My English scores are above the CEC cutline so I believe that is not the reason.

The profile consists of occupation, canadian certificate of qualification, intended work in canada, work history, and research. If something went wrong, it must be in section 3, intended work in canada.

I have captured this section and seeking advice why I am ineligible for CEC. Please help.

@royalstellar Do you mean you don't have enough points to be invited, or really not qualifying for CEC? You don't need a valid job offer to qualify. How long ago was your work experience?

I am not sure if you are aware that job offer differs from a letter of employment. If you have a job offer your employer might need an LMIA unless it is exempt. I believe the issue could be in those questions regarding LMIA and job offer. A senior can comment on this better.

Probably not, having a valid job offer (for future employment) is not a program qualification, so it would not make you ineligible.

Lack of valid Canadian work experience would make you ineligible, so please provide those details -

It would depend on what kind of work permit you hold. In order to get the job offer points without an LMIA - you must have worked for that employer for at least a year and your employer must be named in the work permit. So you can get the 50 points without an LMIA if you have an ICT work permit or a Young Professionals work permit. However not possible on a PGWP (you need an LMIA to get the 50 points).

However as others have said, your main issue right now is that you only have 66 points under the FSW points system. You need a minimum of 67 points to qualify.

It doesn’t matter where you want to go. To get in the express entry pool there are requirements and after you pass those the system will tell you which class you qualified for. The basic requirement is the 67 points. If you can’t qualify for Skilled worker you it won’t allow you to create a profile

I never knew the express entry pool requirements are over 67 points? Creating a pool selects either? How about trades express entry then? They wont be over 67 points?

So in that case you need an approved LMIA to claim the 50 job offer points. Yes - your work permit is LMIA exempt. However your employer isn't named in your work permit. And for that reason an LMIA is required to be able to claim that you have a job offer.

This is NOT the case. The 67 points is ONLY for FSW eligibility. The lack of clarity in your initial post suggested to some people that you were not eligible for CEC, so they responded RE FSW.

THIS, for the job offer. However, it still doesn't explain why the OP's profile is "ineligible."

Something in the profile suggests you are not eligible for CEC.

1) What is your NOC? Is it skill level O, A, or B?

2) What are your language scores?

3) At the end of each job entry, there are 2-3 questions that a lot of people answer incorrectly at first. There's a question about whether your work was authorized, whether you were a student at the time, etc. If you answer those incorrectly, your experience will not be counted.

It’s base on the job that they put in when they create the profile. The system will know the difference between skill trade and skilled worker. But to get in the pool you have to meet the minimum criteria and that’s skilled worker

This is not correct. You need to meet the requirements of at least one of the programs, FSW, CEC, and FST. A person could meet only the CEC requirements (nothing to do with 67 points - that is only for FSW) and get into the pool. Anyone posting in the CEC forum should know this.
