Same thing with me, still struggling to get my PCC in Qatar. I have my old one but the date was not the last day when I left Qatar.
We are waiting for PCC as well. PCC is a mandatory document and submitting the application without PCC might cause a rejection of application. I don't want to take that risk. I don't recommend anybody as well. We still have time till mid May. It we come close to deadline and still don't have the PCCs, than it is worth to take the risk and submit the application without PCC.
If you still have time, wait for your PCC. Submitting an incomplete application with Covid as an excuse will just put your app in queue until you submit your PCC. It won’t be processed as IRCC will be waiting for your PCC.
You mean bridging open work permit? You can only apply for BOWP if your work permit has only 4 months or less. https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio.../extend-permit/bridging-open-work-permit.html
I did that and I submitted the old one, when I received the new one I submitted a webform with it as soon as I received it

I'm filling out the details for application, but have doubt on some. Kindly please help.
- under if you have any other name, should I put that i use my first and last name most of the time and all documents such as degree and employment use first and last name and not the middle name.
- for travel history, I came in 2014 and moved to different city. Should I put that the trip is still ongoing? And what should I put for city/town or region of visit? And also purpose? As I came on study visa and now on work permit.
- under personal details- family section, they asked if I have any relative who is citizen or permanent resident of Canada. What should I say in there as I'm confused if its only for immediate family members or any relatives. I have grandparents here in Canada who are permanent resident. Should I mention them?
-for address history, when I first landed in Canada I stayed for 7 days with my friends relatives and then moved to place near college. Should I mention that 7 days stay at different location under address history?

Thanks for your reply. If I want to apply for OWP to separate from the present employer, then what is the procedure as my work permit will expire on DEC2021..so there are still 9 more months to expire. Please suggest.
I think BOWP is the only option to for closed wp holders to get an open work permit . If you want to transfer employers, your new employer needs to apply an LMIA. I could be wrong, wait for others.
