Hi guys,

I have a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, as well as a Diploma in Instrumentation Engineering. I am in Alberta but it's pretty difficult getting a job.
I have worked as a bricklayer and a concrete finisher and these are NOC B jobs. These types of jobs are done when the weather is favourable (seasonal job)

Can I apply for express entry with these types of jobs when I must have accumulated 1560hrs?

The experience will count, but you can count a maximum of 30 hours per week (30 or more hours per week is simply "full-time"), and you need 1 year/52 weeks of full-time (or the equivalent in part-time) work experience. (1560 hours is the hourly equivalent for part-time workers).

Hi,

I am applying for express entry. I have done my bachelors in Electronic Engineering and got my equivalence from WES. However, I have 6 years of experience in mobile application development (Falls in software engineering category). My questions is:

Will they count my educational experience and work experience both, considering my work experience is completely different then my education. However both falls in skill A job category.

Thanks

Your work experience is not attached to your Bachelors degree.
They can be different.
