CEC - CLASS: Help to Choose VISA OFFICE(Toronto or New Delhi)..?

Hi All,
I am planning to apply for Canada PR in August 2013 under CEC but i have a small issue. I am completing my one year of full time experience in Aug 2013 and i am going back to india in the very next month. Kindly help me with my below mentioned questions:

1. Should i apply PR Application in Canada or India.
2. In case i apply it in canada and then go back to India, then in that case how will i send my passport back to Canada for single entry visa stamping?
3. In case i apply my PR Application in India, then will my PCC(Applied and received in Toronto) will be valid and useful to submit with my application?

Please suggest how should i proceed..?? Thanks in advance.

If your one year work experiance required for CEC application is getting complete then how can u leave canada before that?
CIC will reject your application saying you do not have 1 year full time experiance.

Better thing is to be in Canada untill you file your application - Get AOR - Apply BOWP - Get TRV renewed for multiple entry and then leave the country.

OR Hire a lawyer for complex situation.

I will apply after i get my 1 year exp, but what question is that once i apply(thru lawyer) i have to go within a month may be before i receive my AOR.

So the main question is how will i stamp my single entry visa at the final stage.

Sorry dear there is no shortcut in this process you file your application - Get AOR - Apply BOWP - Get TRV renewed for multiple entry

Until unless you choose to stay here and extend your stay as visitor.

What reason will you give for single entry visa? If you have valid reason you may apply for TRV in india or within canada.

By Single Entry Visa i mean to say that when CIC will ask me to submit the passport to PR stamping....

For that i want to make sure that if its ok to apply for Canada and then to go to a diff country

passport request from CIC for PR it self is for VISA issuence as well as COPR. you dont need seperate single entry visa again.

Once you filled your PR under CEC u are free to go any where in the world. But if you want to return to canada before PR u need Entry VISA.

Correct..sounds like nice plan.

But no backup plan if you get refusal for some reason...think about it.

Ashish - CEC applications are processed in CPP-O. Even if you choose New Delhi, your application will be processed in Ottawa. So when you do get passport request, you will have to send your passport to Ottawa for stamping the PR visa. You will have to come to Canada to submit your pp or arrange to send the passports to Canada. If you have to come, you will need a TRV. I understand that it is illegal to send passports by courier from India but if you search the forum you will find some people have been successful in sending the passports from India through DHL, if you obtain permission from ministry of external affairs. you will have to mail passports to your lawyer as CPP-O will not mail your stamped passports to an address outside Canada.

I thought filing it in Canada will save me some time but if the processing time is same, then should i apply in India itself.?

So my question was as i am leaving Canada for good just after 1 month i complete my exp, so should i apply it here and then go or apply it in India under CEC.?

Wherever you apply from, you have to send your application to Sydney, Nova Scotia and from there it will be sent to Ottawa for further processing. So you can send your application before you leave Canada if that's possible or else from India. Processing time will remain the same...and your file will be processed and finalized in Ottawa.

yes

As per the trend now, NO. You have to send it to Ottawa.

3. In case i am submiting my application in New Delhi(India), Can i submit in same Class that is Canadian Experience Class(CEC).

You can not submit your application in Delhi. You have to send it to the CIO, Sydney, Nova Scotia even if you decide to apply after going back to India. Even if you are in India your application will be processed in Ottawa.
And yes, you can apply under CEC even when you go back to India. Hope this is clear now.
