I finally got a hold on them. They told me it's all good, my application was actually approved yesterday (weird because they told me days ago that it was already approved) and my case is being transferred to my local CIC office to schedule an interview. She specifically told me that I don't have to send my passport anywhere, I will not get a PPR email, it will be an email to schedule an interview straight away. She also told me my local office has an estimated wait time of 4 weeks, so if by mid March I haven't received that interview email, then I can call them again. Fingers crossed! I can't wait for all this to be over!!

As I understand, interview is not actually an interview but rather a process which combines 2 things - you sending your Passport and receive the COPR + landing.
In this case you just need to go to an IRCC office and these will be done then and there.

You won't be able to get a permanent SIN until you complete the flagpole process

Once you do the landing and have the COPR. Take that and your temp SIN to any of the Service Canada offices, near your place anytime from 8:30AM-4:00PM Monday through Friday and get it made in minutes.

@c.cruz91 , I called CIC today regarding my application. They said the application received on Ottawa visa office and I should expect an passport request sooner. They also said, If I didn't receive anything before March 1, I need to call back. Hope I receive an email soon.

But I read some other threads and they say you need to get your all documenta you submitted and more documentation

My application got approved last Thursday and still waiting for the tracker to be activated.

Hmmm. I doubt though. But anyways I believe in the interview they will specify what you need to carry.

FYI... for flagpole also they state that officer will interview the applicants but honestly they just ask are u convicted, any criminal record etc...

They specifically asked not to do it. Not sure how it is going to impact. I would say call them if you dont see anything in one or two days.

Last tuesday.
