Hi Ushiee88, I see u asked for the RCMP timelines, I wanted to knw if you have been waiting for long since u did RCMP.

In my case my fingerprints were lost and it delayed my application 1.5 months, asking the fingerprinting agency to send results directly to CIC seems to be an unreliable process, so I did the RCMP again withing 30 days of the request and asked to send the report to my address, it was done in 4 days and I sent to to CIC and witin 2 weeks I got a passport request.

BTW I did the RCMP from ACE Fingerprinting in Toronto, which was lost and then I did from Commissionairies.

How did you come to know your rcmp was lost? I been calling RCMP head office and they said it has been mailed out but they did not want to tell me the date. CIC won't be able to tell me due to processing time not passed.

Don't stress yourself out mate. If RCMP have sent the report then CIC would have received it.

Yes i have been waiting after rcmp aswell. I sent my rcmp last monday . I knew that asking rcmp to send them directly would be unreliable so i sent it myself. Still waitinf for ppr after

Also does your ecas say decision made? Or still in progress

I got RCMP and Schedule A requested on March 1st (reached CIC in 7th), RPRF requested on March5th (paid the same day).

My ecas is still showing "in progress"

I m August applicant . got ready for visa email on 4 April and CIC reserved on 5 April . I don't got my passport back yet . can any one tell me how long will it take?

Don't stress yourself out mate. If RCMP have sent the report then CIC would have received it.

Im not stressing, I know for sure that my RCMP was lost because the ACE Fingerprinting Guy did not put my Client ID or Application Number in section "Reference #" when submitting my prints to RCMP, RCMP sent it to CIC but on the document with fingerprints there was nothing that could tell CIC whose RCMP report it is. CIC does not go searching my Name and Date Of Birth. People where you go for RCMP fingerprints must know that they need to enter either one of the ID which will link the Report to the PR File of the applicant.

Hi , I came to know it was lost because, I called CIC once after 15 days I did RCMP and then after 25 days again, they said they done have it. I went back to ACE Fingerprinting and got a copy of my fingerprints sent to RCMP, this Guy did not put my Client ID or Application Number in section "Reference #" when submitting my prints to RCMP, RCMP sent it to CIC but on the document with fingerprints there was nothing that could tell CIC whose RCMP report it is. CIC does not go searching my Name and Date Of Birth. I did the fingerprints again from Commissionairies and that guy put my application number in section "Reference #" when submitting my prints to RCMP. I however requested the report at my address and when I sent the report to CIC, they acknowledged that they had in in a week.

Most important advice: Get a copy of your fingerprints from where u did, if they didnt give u already. Check if your Application Number or Client ID is mentioned in Reference # on that document.

Call CIC atleast after 15 days you did RCMP, I know CIC agents dont even take effort to open your file and check, dont tell CIC upfront that u are calling to know if they received ur RCMP, if u say that, then they will say call after 45 days bla bla bla. So call after 2 weeks and say u want to check status of your application, if they ask u when was the last communication from CIC, tell its been a while and you dont remember when it was, once they check they will see they requested RCMP from you, then u ask if they received it. Also you can send an email to CIC to confirm receipt of your RCMP report as well.
