Thanks.. I went home at lunch time to check the mail, I was so excited to see the letter on the floor by the mailbox. The envelope looked official, then I saw the immigration Canada logo I opened it and saw those beautiful words "CONFIRMATION OF PERMANENT RESIDENCE" FINALLY after all this time... Then I went back to work , but to be honest didn't do much work this afternoon lol good luck to everyone still waiting.

congrat!!! I got Copr!! Even I didn"t get any Email for ready for visa or confirmation of adress.. You got 2 papers of Confirmation Of Permanent Residence(1 for client, 1 for CIC) and 4pages for Information, right?
So. I have a plan I go to Rainbow bridge for landing. What do I have to bring for Interview at Border?? Do I need Photos?

Status change to Decision Made April. 8 in ECAS
Yesterday I got the letter of COPR in the mail without any asking by Email(Address..Ready for visa...etc).
Issued Date of COPR : April.6

I have a question. When I go to Border for landing, Do I have to bring Job Reference?
I changed the job title after I applied CEC in 2014. (Example, Applied CEC with cook/chef position, now working with Office position..)and I already applied and got BOWP with current job.
If I need job reference, is it ok with my current job?

I completed the landing process at Peace Bridge yesterday using Uturn method like many other applicants. It took about 5 minutes outside and 30 minutes inside the building. At that time I was the only one inside or outside so it was very quick. But officer said you are not supposed to make uturn for landing you are supposed to go to USA border. I said I didn't know. But they don't give hard time he let me do it. Thanks to this forum for all the support.

Documents they asked for:

Passport
Work permit
Copr
Proof of current address
Bank statement that shows amount you have

i did my landing at cic ottawa office yesterday finally the journey is over for me my COPR did have a wrong entry date which i heard is common n the agent said i should be not worried she said its link to the application or something bcz that date was random to me n didnt make sense i didnt even applied for cec at that time. nyw had to wait an hour but once it was my turn it took 5 mins agent was polite n everything went smooth , passport, id, 2 photos, current valid work permit if any was required , below is my full timeline:

application recvd: sep 8th, 2014
AOR date: jan 21, 2015
additional doc req: feb 16, 2016
medical req: feb 25, 2016
medical done: march 1st, 2016
medical recvd by cic: march 15
passport req: march 16, 2016
passport sent: march 16th, 2016
revd passport back with visa n COPR: april 1st
landing: april 12th, 2016

for me it was 19 months for the whole process! Good luck to all the members, i will be visiting the forum if anyone has any concerns n if i can answer the questions i would be happy to answer them Cheersssss

After them loosing/misplacing important paperwork, which our Lawyer sent again to them with a juicy letter ( as us germans would say) and proof that they messed up, via e-mail on Monday
We just received an email that we can do our Medical.
