If uve landed why would u care abt ecas? Lol

I'm curious to know why it's not updated. Is there any remote possibility of landing information not being updated in the system? Read in one of the forums that same thing happened to one guy and when he checked with CIC, they told that they don't have any record of his landing. The issue got resolved for him after couple of weeks. Also, I'm planning to travel outside Canada (to my home country) in May 2016 and I'm trying to make sure everything is in place.

Hello Guys,

I have successfully landed on March 25, 2016 at Peace Bridge. It was very smooth process and we were in and out in less than half hour.

I wish you all the best guys. :)

Hello all,

I got my PPR but i am in Peru, when CPC sent htheir email i sent one back letting them know where i was. It has been THREE weeks. Does anyone typically know how long they would take to set this up so that i can get my passport stamped? Who should i contact to find out if anythign is happening. I don't want to lose my PR because of this.

Much appreciation!

Hello There,

When did you get the PPR ?

There aren't many people left in here i think.

I have a some questions for you all:

What are the chances you get rejected after you get your COPR? I got my COPR last week and now I am pretty anxious about the landing.
I currently live in Canada, is it safer to go to the border or to get the appointment at the office?

Pretty slim. You should only really worry if you have recently been convicted of a crime.

I don't think either border vs appointment is safer. Border will obviously be faster if you can get there.

CIC is causing more and more frustration as we are moving closer to the line. It has been 18 days since ECAS was updated to "Decision Made" but no PPR yet. This wait is seriously killing now. Really hard to understand what CIC is waiting for now. :(

did you contact the call center ?

if possible, get your GCMS to know the details.

For those in the same situation as me. I got a request for RCMP fingerprint check(a new one) beggining of March, sent it a week after, received RPRF request on March 5th, paid on 6th, since then no news, no changes on e-cas.

So I called CIC office yesterday and the agent was extremely helpful, she advised that according to the notes on my files everything was passed except criminality. So it seems like it's just a matter of time before we get cleared and our passport requests will be dispatched. Good luck to everyone:)

Application received on Aug 25th, AOR in December. Medicals received on January 28th, done February 14th.
RCMP (along with new travel and schedule A forms) requsted on February 29th, payment requested on March 5th. E-cas is showing medicals received and then "we sent you correspondence". That's it for now
