did you order gcms

Hi Deep2693,

When did you Pay your RPRF fee and did you pay upfront or when they requested?

Hi Guys,

Quick question. I got a "Ready for Visa" email from CIC this morning. I am guessing this is the PPR? (I am not sure about the abbreviations, sorry if I am wrong) but the email asks me to inform CIC of any changes in my status like marriage or death or something and asks me to send my passport with passport size pictures. I am glad that I finally got this request from CIC but I am going to the states for vacation in 2 weeks and by the time I come back the 30 days within which they requested my passport would be over. I do not want to extend the time with CIC because I am guessing it'll further delay the process when I send my passport back. If I send it today what are the chances that I get my passport within 2 weeks. any idea?

August 21 st applicant.
Still no progress...
Requested GCMS 2 weeks back.No update on this also.

Loosing Hope.....

Anyone like me?????????????????????? :( :( :'( :'( :'(

August 8th applicant - in the same situation.
Still waiting on MR and GCMS received only has 'criminality in progress' - eligibility no started, security not started.
Call centre says call back in August if I haven't heard anything!! :-(
Depressing.

HI guys, reading my last general notes I realized that VO asked for my husband (Pa) pay stubs because his wage was too low and he thinks he had worked part time so he wants to check the total amount of hours worked. All the pay stubs were already attached to the main application and we have just to send the file again so id not a big deal. My husband worked full time, with 40 hours per week, so much more than hours requested by the program and his wage was low because the employer is an ass...e and knows that immigrants needs to work at least a full year to get PR and he took advantage of that. BUt, on the other hand, wage is not a requirement of the CEC program so do you think it may be a problem in term of eligibility?

Wage is not requirement but a red-flag if the wage is too low compare to the job he did, on a specific location ( not the same wage in Yellowknife NT and laval Qc ).

The main issue is to justify WHY it was low, and usually, in this case, the employer can add a note on the work certificate. ( no experience in Canada before the hiring, too many candidates for the job, doesn't speak the regional language ( a person who doesn't speak French in Quebec, and vice-versa ).

August 8th applicant here - still have not received MR.
Last thing I got from CIC was AOR in Nov 2014.
Is anyone else in the same situation? Does this mean something is wrong?

Your timeline sounds roughly similar to mine; I just got my status updated to 'Decision Made' on Monday.

If you haven't done your Medical yet, I'd recommend booking it now in order to save time (results are valid for 12 months), as lab and x-rays can take a few days to process and the whole thing needs to be received and processed by CIC.

Good luck!

[/quote] yes but it wasn't for that, it's just because the employer takes advantage of immigrants. I can't say that to CIC

Doesnt matter what reality is, ask his employer to state one of the reasons mentioned above if asked by CIC to justify why the wage was low.

Just got a Additional Medical test needed request from CIC. Quite surprising as i got the RPRF request on 3rd March and was hoping to get PPR soon :( . Now have to wait for the new tests to be done and submitted.. more delay :(

thats strange, when did yoou do your first medicals?
was there anything unusual with the medical report? (I was told when doing mine, if they find anything unusual they will contact me before submitting results to cic)

sigh, this whole processing is beginning to stress me out. All I do is pray everything will be finalised quickly

HI All,

I have paid RPRF upfront. I have the receipt number. How do I check status based on my receipt number ?
