I got the "Ready for Visa" email! :o

I am very surprised because 1) I have not heard from CIC since the AoR, and 2) I did upfront medicals before sending my application (back in 2014) so I was expecting MR first (although I recently did another medicals for the BOWP application - so I guess probably that was linked to my file too).

And of course I had paid upfront RPRF.

Anyway I hope all applicants who are still waiting receive very soon good news. I do know how frustrating is to wait and wait and see other people receiving updates.

My timeline:

App received: Aug 21, 2014
AoR: Dec 17, 2014
Upfront Med: Aug 2014 / Jan 2016 (BOWP)
Upfront RPRF
PPR: Mar 3, 2016

Hi why you did medicals for BOWP

should the status be changed to "Decision Made" first or we receive the PPR email first? My status was changed to Decision Made in the morning, but have not received the PPR up to now. Any one have the same situation with me?

we are from european country.

Oh, so this is normal if you didn't receive any communication from CIC ... COPR is coming tomorrow or in the beginning of next week in your mail box ;) You won't get PPR.

No, they will ask for only if you got a new passport during the processing time of your application.

visa exempt are getting their COPR directly in the mail box, it take usually 3 to 7 business days from DM.

Update:

File received: 15 August 2014
AOR: 05 December 2014
Medical done upfront: 11 January 2016
RPRF Request: 03 March 2016

File was under second review. NOC 0621.
