Hey, You paid RPRF upfront as I did. I used "CPCO-Cost-Recovery@cic.gc.ca" email address to send the payment receipt.

Did you use the any other email address too to let CIC know about upfront RPRF? Did you get any confirmation from CIC ?

No..... Just paid RPRF upfront. Have to submit RCMP criminal record check (Waiting for result from RCMP). Hopefully, CIC will get back to me soon after getting RCMP result.

Could anybody give a rough idea about time it takes for a RPRF request after medicals?? I know it varies from case to case. But looking at the scenario of AU 2014 applications any approx idea about this period time??

Also is it advisable to pay RPRF upfront?? How does it work? Pros and cons??

Thanks much for all inputs..!!

All the best to all applicants..!!

the time varies no once can predict when the requests happen.

upfront had no harm, but I always suggest to wait until things get requested, that will indicate where you application is, if the upfronts are done wont save you more than 2 weeks, as things will be sitting in your file until they are due.

Does any one know how long the passports stay with CIC before sending it back??

I am sure you will here something before May, I was told the same to wait till May but I heard lots before.

I assume May is when they are aiming to clear all the old applications.
