yes I read the mail carefully now, its a passport request, Can anyone tell after I got passport back and after re-entering Canada, Can I leave Canada again to my home country?

Congrats buddy! No u cant leave canada after u get ur passport as u need ur pr card to travel outside canada and that comes in 2-3 months after applying after ur landing. U can however apply for a travel document if u need to travel urgently but its advised to just wait for pr card.

Oh yess before ur landing. I think u can travel for as long as u have the landing visa valid for and come back before that even if its for 5 months. But u shud check with the website to confirm. Or just send cic an email. They will give a definitive answer.

Harry,

once you get your passport back, you are not PR yet.

you have to leave the country and renter Canada to do your landing.
you can leave as long as you want as soon as u return before the date of the visa expires,

upon your return u do the landing,

Can anyone help me out on how to pay rprf upfront? I see online you can only pay under Express Entry.

hey Ling, below is the email for RPRF as per the CIC request, note that paying upfront won't speed up your application. the receipt will sit in your file until its due. I suggest u wait until requested, after all its your decision,

ÿ Go to our Online Payment webpage https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do?lang=en

ÿ Read the instructions on each page, and click “Continue” to proceed

ÿ Select the “Immigration” link, followed by “Right of Permanent Residence Fee”

ÿ Enter the number of fee payments (1 or 2) in the box beside the fee of $490

ÿ Click “Submit”

ÿ Proceed to pay your fees by selecting “Pay” and then follow the instructions to pay with Visa, American Express or Mastercard.

I did not do any upfronts, and after all each request indicates where you file is, if you so things upfront you wont know when they touch your file.

and every time there is a request u get personal message, based on your file and what's is in.

Hi Guys,

My application details:

Date: 15th August, 2014
AOR: 5th Dec
MR: Jan 14th
Medicals Done: 22nd Jan
Medicals received: 9th Feb

I had a question regarding paying upfront RPRF. After talking to few friends of mine yesterday I decided to pay the RPRF upfront. But I somehow paid the fee (for both myself and my wife) in the wrong area. I paid it in the application fee section. I paid 550 for my spouse and 490 for myself. That was because I read one of the posts from few months back which had the wrong options mentioned. Later I realized after reading few posts from today and yesterday that I paid it differently. I sent the receipt to the respective CIC email as well.

Can anyone tell me how to handle this situation? Anyone else has gone through a similar mistake and can guide me?

Thanks for your help guys. :(

Best,
Hanul

For those who applied for BOWP with Temporary Resident

what does it say on the temporary resident is that a separate thing aside from the work permit?
does it say valid for re-entry?

cos the 1st BOWP i got says not valid for re-entry but that time there was no Temporary Resident that goes along with the BOWP application.

Can somebody who already got the docs for this please confirm.
Appreciate it.

it still says THIS DOES NOT AUTHORIZE RE-ENTRY.....
do you know what is APR ? on my 2nd BOWP under remarks it says APR PENDING.

thanks

Ted,
Here is my case.
We received your application for permanent residence on August 7, 2014.
We started processing your application on October 29, 2014.
Medical results have been received.(June 20th)
And they also asked my police clearance certificate from Germany that where I did my master and T4 from 2014 on June 20th, i have sent them those after 3 weeks. after that i did not hear anything.
However I see people from Aug starting to get PPR, thats really cheering me up:)

Can anyone help on the below please?

I'm Aug 2014 Applicant and got my medical request and completed. There are only 2 lines in ECAS and not having medicals requested date. I order GMS notes extract date - 6-Jan-2016.

In GCMS notes it states Criminality In Progress, Security Not started, Eligibility as Blank Doc Due Date is 04-Mar-2016. My current open Bridging work Permit is going to expire on 3-Jun-2016.

Below are my questions
1. Can I do upfront RPRF fee so that it can speed up the process? As my doc Due date according to GCMS notes is 04-Mar-2016 and if I pay this fee will it help in moving this step forward soon?
2. Where can I see the fee details and what are the next steps?
3. Children are <18 Years is there a fee for them too?
4. How long in general take for Passport request from Medicals completed date?
5. Can I extend my current work permit, I heard people saying that there is some eligibility status needed to get the work permit extended?
