It is clearly showing the trend at CIC that approve BOWP if PR eligibility is passed.

I have noticed that too. I guess it applies to only Old CEC applicants. The recent change in BOWP rules coupled with this trend tells us they are in no mood to extend work permit for applicants who are not eligible for PR.

Hi guys, me and my kids recieved our MR last Jan 17. Im an August 13 applicant.

thammi.. I know his eligibility has been passed and they approved BOWP which was submitted on 27 Oct 2015. It is clearly showing the trend at CIC that approve BOWP if PR eligibility is passed.

Be carefull my annalu will take care of you if you doubt me

I hope so! I haven't applied for notes so I have no way of knowing as we did upfront medicals. Best of luck!

Does anyone kniw if theres any way i can get a work permit. My work permit expired a year back and im in canada on a temporary resident permit . I gave my media last week. Can i get a work permit somehow.

Most likely only if you have an employer that will get an LMIA for you.

Call CIC at 1-888-242-2100, and ask them to resend the request by email, Make sure they have your right email address
