Hello Vikrant! Thanks for decoding GCMS comments ;)
by the way what was your NOC?

Thanks!

The AOR in old applications and R10 check in EE is a similar process in which the primary office checks the completion of PA and other dependents immigration forms, supporting documents and associated fee with the application.

Once it is done than the file is reviewed by a CIC analyst which will check your eligibility and recommend it passed, review required or failed.

if you are in second review which is done by senior VO than your GCMS notes should indicate review required.
Even it is recommended passed by the analyst it will forwarded to the senior VO which will give the final decision.

The security and criminality is done simultaneously along with eligibility as it is done by other agencies such as RCMP and CSIS.

The security field in GCMS would remain empty even after you get your PR because as per CIC manual it is not mandatory to have the values in that field and is not disclosed to the applicant.

I hope this will help to understand the GCMS notes better.

Ask my any query regarding GCMS and I will try to answer according to best of my ability.

PS. I am not an expert.

anybody got RPRF request recently ( especially for early august applicant ) ?

Hi...got GCMS notes just few minutes ago.... August 18th applicant, AOR- Dec 12, 2014, MR: Jan 19, 2016....

No major progress so far... Eligibility: blank, Security: Not started, Criminality: In progress... (Notes were generated on jan 08, 2016)

However, I got MR on Jan 19th. Probably I will see some updates in next set of GCMS notes ( Will get on 21st Feb)..

I did Medical on Jan 22 and Dr. submitted results on Feb 2nd.

Does anyone know how long ECAS takes to show medical results as "Medical received" ?

Last observations were about 3 months until the line showed up. You might not even see it before getting your PR.

Should I send an email to CIC that I have completed medical? It was an eMedical and I double checked with Dr. He told that he had submitted my results". I guess you have to notify CIC if you go for upfront medical But I am not sure in case you get medical request from CIC.. Any suggestion ????

Why wait for suggestions? Just send whatever paperwork you have! ;)

Hey everyone, couple of queries regarding RPRF
1) Can we pay "Right of Permanent Resident Fee" upfront?
2) Online it shows me "$490.00"per Application. (My applicantion includes Me+Spouse) so under No Of Aplication do i enter 1 Or 2 as the amount will change accordingly.
3) And after payment do i need to inform CIC? if yes, how?

Go to the website: https://eservices.cic.gc.ca/epay/welcome.do?lang=en
· Read the instructions on each page, and click “Continue” to proceed
· Select the “Immigration” link, followed by “Right of Permanent Residence Fee”
· You must pay this fee once for yourself as principal applicant
· You must also pay this fee for your accompanying spouse or common law partner, if you have one
· Enter the number of fee payments (1 or 2) in the box beside the fee of $490
· Click “Submit”
· Proceed to pay your fees by selecting “Pay” and then follow the instructions to pay with a credit card

Once paid I printed the receipt filled in the required details and sent an email to
CPCO-Cost-recovery.CTDO-Recouvrement-frais@cic.gc.ca, CPPO-Cost-Recovery@cic.gc.ca
with CPC-CTD-Ottawa <CPC-CTD-Ottawa@cic.gc.ca> in cc.

Make sure you include the details of all the applicants.

Also kept the subject line as

Right of Permanent Residence Fee (RPRF) Payment Receipt - APPLICATION # XXXXXXXXX - UCI: XXXXXXXX

Hi All,

I am Aug 05 2014 applicant, received medicals request in April 2015. I did receive my GCMS notes yesterday and I see APPLICATION ASSIGNMENT - Due date - Feb 4 2016 (I could see this only in my latest GCMS notes, not the old ones).

Do this date have any significance? Any comments?

Thanks

Hi if you check on that link, the fee for Spouse is different : "Spouse, common-law partner or conjugal partner of the principal applicant or where a transitional provision applies, a family member of the principal applicant who is 22 years of age or older" = $550
and for the Primary Applicant : its under : Right of Permanent Residence Fee = $490.
Hence enter "1" for each of these categories and you'll pay : $550 + $490 = $1040.

yes you can pay upfront, but that wont make any difference to your application, I suggest you wait until you get the request. Plus the request will indicate the details relates to your file,

I did nothing upfront and my file moved fast all depend on your application,

I got my free requested same day CIC received my medical results, that was Jan 8, and still waiting
