Must be a mistake.

If you look at the processing times info for Work Permit Extension (like BOWP), it says they are working on applications submitted on January 21!

That means you get BOWP approved the same day if you apply now! :D

Anyways, I think they screwed up while updating the "check processing times" tool.

Yes, I just saw that....hopefully they didn't mean to change ours instead ???

Like change ours from 17 to 15? I'm good with that! :p

haha no I mean change it to 21 months like they keep saying they're going to. Hey if they change it back to 15 months then that means I'm way over due. Going on month 20 over here. UGH

google search , blame storm for the EE system

EE system designed because of enterprise lack of labor , now most furious blame from them.

so maybe it is time to stop this stupid system for CEC.

Lol,,,, I think they hired one of the skilled person under EE, who keeps making these system errors :P

It would be nice if since they finished most applications from after Jan 1 2015 within 6 months, they're changing their commitment from 6 months to 15 months for the newer ones so they can finish ours. Although, it shows in the work permit section that they're working on applications submitted today....so I'm not sure how accurate this update is haha

Lol,,, I would say don't get so excited, it is just another error.

Just give it some time, they will be apologizing soon...

Thank you rohangk. But the link that you provided talks about a case where the person was in implied status as he applied for visitor VISA. In my case, I cannot apply for WP extension as I'm a intra company transferee and will be completing 5 with the expiration of my current WP. Do you think even with this situation I can email Indian consulate to approve for the PCC?

If I have to get it from India which office (SSP?) I have to get it from? If it's SSP, what's the full form of it?

Yes, but you can probably mention your situation and see what the embassy has to say. wouldnt do any harm.
I am not sure about getting one from india. its different for different cities/states.
one way is to get from pp office:
