CEC - August 2014 application

Actually goalb, I only provided a Canadian rcmp check when I submitted the application but on this one they are asking for one from my home country and not another Canadian one. Maybe they just want to cover the whole places I have been although I haven't been to my home country in 10 years. I did change my personal residence but it was all within Canada. Bc - Alberta.

PCC is valid for 1 year.

Got clarified, CIC not asking to apply for new PCC again, it is asked for home country though he did not lived there in last 10 years.

If anybody got request for new PCC, please post here. It help us to apply for 1. In some countries it may take 2 to 3 months to get 1.

Note that canada pcc is not required at all. You should have sent your home country ( or any country other than canada where you have resided for more than 6months) pcc when you applied.

Got my GCMS notes today and it seems like they have not even touched my file in last 16 months, I am an an August 13th applicant and I applied for these notes on November 19th, 2015.

Criminality - In progress

i have the same timeline and situation as yours.

i will be applying for pcc next month as when u submit the pcc, the issuance date should not be older than 3 months. and i was told by the call center agent that i should hear something by feb 2016 end.

Does the due dates they have given on the notes makes any sense, my due date for eligibility was 13th November.

how do you know when is the due date? in my notes it doesn't indicate my due date

No it doesn't matter. May be it mattered when the Old CEC was processed timely.

Correct. My due date is over 4 months ago (and I'm not even 2nd review - recommended pass)

ofcourse canada pcc is required.. thats more imp as they want to see if you have any criminal record for the time uve lived here. ofcourse thats for ppl who have lived here and are applying from within canada.. its on the document checklist also the RCMP police certificte.

there way of processing files just seems BS for me ... id say gather some support and go outside their office and protest... how can they have a good christmas keeping guys like us at bay without happiness ...this seems unfair

My Christmas & home country festivals have been sorrow for me in all year 2015, CIC people have no idea what I have been going through. When will I get PR and thing will again be in shape? At this point, god even has no answer. I am still wishing them Happy Festive season. :'(

i can feel your sorrows mate i hope this new year brings a new light for all of us ... right now i wuld hope they have a merry christmas too ... sometimes our feelings just get the best of us hope 2016 can bring new lights to all of the people waiting for PR

It will come out. Imagine, the first stream of Syrian Refugees just arrived. So, cic has some congestion going on trying to manage their time there.
Let's hope it comes out soon.
