CEC - August 2014 application

I once deleted my account, but all the comments can't be deleted. these disappear is weird.

when I add my account back , nothing changed.

It's unfortunate but. Think we can keep this one though after all we know where to discuss our stuff...
On the other hand goes to show how much this forum means to us lol

Only the web page administrators can delete a thread. Dont know why they would do it. Anyway it doesnt really matter as long as we have this active thread.

No I decided not to apply for it after I spoke to a call centre agent and after explaining to her that my application was past the 14 month processing ( August 14 2014 - Oct 20 2015 ... I'm guessing she used the date my app was received!) she sent a note to the vo and they sent me back a standard email the same day...
Basically saying - they received too much cec applications and that they don't need anything from me now and that I should keep communication with them to a minimum and also they can't tell me when it would be finalized. I just took that as "your application is ok, now get back in line" lol
I mean now we know the whole too much applications line is bs is just cuz Harper cut their funding the directed them to focus on EE instead.
For now I'm on the hopeful line that all the noise and pressure we have been making lately will make them pay attention and do something!

i am also same batch, my application received on 14 aug 2015, but no medical request yet .
I also called call center and she forward my inquiry to cec office , next day I got just standard reply from cec says I have to wait.
did you do something different ?

i m waiting for medical request my 14 months is over now.

Somehow, The problem should be conveyed to higher authorities, as the wait is getting too much! 17 months, 18 months for CEC applications is too much.
people's lives are devasted :-(

its indeed a lot of time .... i think until the new immigration minister is appointed you cant address the email/letters to any other higher authority because you dont even know who these people are.... best is to wait till 4th nov and see who takes the charge.

i would say what ypou're saying comes true at this point ... praying for all of us
