Yes, I'm an October 2014 (French language) applicant. I guess we won't have any update before at least next July... I need to renew my bowp and I'm scared to have it refused, with their new things coming up every now and then... :(

I just received my MR today, exactly 17 months to the day that my CEC application was first received by CIC. Still can't quite believe it. Hang in there everyone, looks like things are really moving this time.

Hello all, I was checking the tracking excel sheet. As more ppl (than it is shown on excel) said on the forum, they received MR request, I was wondering how many people have been contacted in 2016 either for MR and T4 or for any other communication?

PS: Could someone add me on excel sheet?

Here are the necessary information:
Application Sent:22/08/2014
Application Received: 25/08/2014
AOR Received: 29/12/2014..

No further communication after AOR.

Thanks,

who is helping maintain that table, please update all these new MR , thanks.

I think may be they changed the new receipt and the way you pay and I double checked I paid RPRF ($490) only and I sent all details name, file #, dob etc via email though.

It has only receipt number with barcode and whoever paid the fees his CC details. and receipt is of one page only.

Anyone else paid rprf fees recently ?

I dont think that it has changed. I paid it in the month of august and what I got is same as you describe. However I still entered the details just to be on the safer side.

It is up to your discretion how you want to send the information across. I dont think that it is going to cause any problem if you have/have not filled in the details.

Best Regards,

I am an Oct applicant and i attached my Canadian PCC along with my Application. Is RCMP mandatory for all ? Reason being, after my AOR on 09 Feb 15, there has been no further communication from CIC regarding my application. Hence wondering.

Seniors might better answer this but PCC=RCMP and as far as I know it is mandatory, since you have lived in Canada more than 6 months, as u are already eligible for CEC. I do not know under what circumstances they request another RCMP..

I was of the opinion that PCC and RCMP are totally different i..e by the way how the test is actually done and what all documents are needed for application. Thanks for your response. I will wait for others opinion too..

CIC will request RCMP clearance if required otherwise it is not mandatory. As per the guide clearance certificates are required:

These documents are to be provided for each country other than Canada, in which you have lived for six consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18.

Anyways, CIC can do a name based RCMP check without clearance.

RCMP includes your finger prints.

Did you get your finger prints done when you went for your clearance ? If yes, then you do not need to worry about it.

In any case, don't worry as if RCMP was missing, you would have been requested by now. :) i did not submit it, and i was requested within a month of getting aor.

Hey Everyone,

Received the medical request today.

I am 15th August applicant.

I hope things start to move swiftly now.

All the best to everyone!

Thanks,
