Can any one help me on processing time for CeC ?
how they count 14 maonths from the day of application received date ? or from
They started processing on my application on 02dec2014 after receiving application on 14 aug2014 , so what is the processing time on my application ?
Please help me .

Hi Premal,

the 14 months processing time is just approximate - as per website it is from the date they receive the complete application package (Application received by CIO) --> Application received date to Decision Made.

14 months is the normal processing time and is the time taken by them to process 80% for last July 2014 to June 2015 applicants.

It is just to give you an idea that your application is under normal processing and not to get panic, considering this time line you would be getting in October or November 2015 is normal processing.

You can query them or email after 14 October 2015 if you have not heard anything back from them - as yours will be crossing the normal processing time

But for this quarter October 2014 to September 2015 applicants - It might be different and it depends on number of applications being processed by CIC.

Nobody can help you on stating exact or even approximate timeline that you will receive your PR. Don't have any serious plans based on PR... Processing is highly unpredictable and depressive.

I submitted my application on August 15. I only received acknowledgement through email. Application status say in process. I am on a bridge work permit, which is expiring in 3 months. Can I apply for an extension?
Also did anyone received any letter after acknowledgement?

that letter of acknowledgment is what u need to apply for a bridge work permit. you need that along with the work permit forms to get an extension on the work permit. all details should be on cic website under bridging of work permit

No, I am saying it is unpredictable, only in next two weeks we will come to know.

As they did a U turn in June, July, August 2015 to process backlog application May, June, July 2014 applicants.

So if they resume to process applications normally then we get processed quickly, otherwise the wait will be continued for long

Can't tell MubinSultan - Need to wait and see this month, as Summer holiday is over, we need to check what they are going to focus. Only after that we can presume things.

Pearl, May 2014 applicant spreadsheet is not updated properly.

Now only most of backlogs with June 2014 and July 2014 applicants. Especially June is more. I hope it will be completed in this month.

i went through the posts in May 2014 topic... and looks like some of them are also struggling for an update on their MR or other requests.
