Hi I applied for PR on 28th April 2014. Still awaiting my Medicals request (hoping for the request to come within this week or the next one).
Anyway. I have to leave Canada around 25th December. I understand from the forums that i would need to update my address by sending an email to cpc-ctd-ottawa@cic.gc.ca for change of address to indian address.

What i want to confirm is that if i recieve my medical request and in case I finish my medicals in canada before leaving, and then change the address, how does the next steps work out. obviously i think CPR can be paid online . WHAT ABOUT THE Passport REQUEST ?? and does it take more than the normal processing time once the address gets changed to Indian addresss ???

If you had provided your email address during application all communication is done via email. You can pay RPRF online and Ready for Visa (PPR) is also requested via email. In case you haven't then I will recommend someone to keep an eye out for your mailbox.

It is much faster from India than Canada. I am March 2014 applicant and recieved my COPR and landing visa yesterday. I applied PR in Canada and after moving to India did my medicals etc.

Whats the process for medical test in india?? any docs we have to carry for?

Printout of email sent by CIC for medicals and form IMM1017 attahced with CIC email.
Original passport and photocopy of it.
Photograph is usually taken at the hospital itself, but you can confirm the required
docs on the phone itself when you book appointment.

After exiting Canada, you should have already updated CIC for address change pointing to your Indian Address) assuming you had an AOR. If you have done that no worries, they would provide you a Visa office in India for visa stamping. if not please do have your latest address communicated to CIC
