Actually you get to count 1 year of temporary residence status towards the citizenship requirement...so make that 2 years, lol

lol yes, i got first email yesterday approximately 9am (replied around midday) and then second email 10am this morning (replied 6pm) then I got COPR within 1 hour!!! Things took a major turn in the end

Sounds like a risky move to withdraw and reapply this late in the process.

That is somehow true... But watching the trends of CoPR from 2021 and the recent CEC draws, honestly I feel regrets for my Oct application...and this undetermined waiting process is making that worse...

Actually you get to count 1 year of temporary residence status towards the citizenship requirement...so make that 2 years, lol

everything not permanent residency counts as half day, not one. So 1 year (365 days)of temporary counts as 182.5

Yes, it started like this for me. Update monday, update tuesday, then Wednesday when I called IRCC, agent said Approved. The day after, got my 1st email!

Happy to share received my 1st email today. GU update on Tuesday, GU Wednesday and 1st email today. : )
When did you receive your 2nd Portal link email and eCOPR after 1st email.
