Hi Legalfalcon,
Requesting your immediate advice. I received an update in my account today, it is asking for below details -

"This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to continue the processing of your application, we require the following documents:
Client Information/Kit, Application forms: Letter to confirm if you are currently in Canada."

This update seems a bit vague to me. So does this mean that I only have to provide a letter to confirm my current residency in Canada (probably along with some evidences like utility bills etc.) or are they also asking to submit any Client Information or Application form? Could you please guide asap, I need to submit the documents within 7 days.
Another question: is this kind of request a good indication? I completed 8 months after AOR and this is my first update after Medicals and Biometrics, I didn't hear anything on eligibility approval yet and therefore I am anxious.

All the request is asking for is a confirmation that you are in Canada. There is no need for any documents, but if you have any to support your address proof, you can submit that.
This request is sent right before issuing a COPR for inland applicants.
Sadly I haven't even received the first email yet.

Yeah. I'm in the same boat. I don't know what is taking so long. Some people have got it the next day some like us are waiting for more than week
I know. I called IRCC this morning and was told the only thing I can do is to wait.. No update from their side. Not sure why it would take so long... Every step in the application process seems so long.
