CEC Applications in October 2016

hi guys,

please connect and share your timeline for Canada Experience Class applications submitted in October 2016.

Submitted application - Oct 18th
AOR - Oct 18th
Medicals passed - Oct 25th
Review of eligibility - In progress
Review of sub docs - No additional documents needed at this time
Scheduling Interview - Not needed at this time
Background check need - In progress
Final decision - Not started

QUESTIONS:

- My previous employer (international) wants to know if they will be contacted during the background check stage?
- Will there be a problem if I were working full-time in my country while in school? :-\
- I canned and added my CELPIP results to my education certificates as one file. is this wrong, or will I be requested to re-upload?

They might be, but not necessarily. Usually they do a "web check". However, be sure if they would be called they answer the same things that you have in your reference letter

- Will there be a problem if I were working full-time in my country while in school? :-\

I think that restriction applies for Canadian work only. You can not count Canadian work experience while you were a full-time student.

I think many people do the same, since there is no folder for language test results. It belongs to education, so I don't think you should be worried.

I hear CEC applications usually get processed faster than other streams - all conditions being equal.
am not certain how reliable that information is tho!
