If you do that your application should be refused.
You have to comply with the one year requirement when receiving ITA and when applying.

You can create your EE profile saying you have 1 year experince to see how your score is but in case of get ITA you have to refuse it. Note in tos case you're stealing other applicant the ITA.

I recommend to create the profile, see the score and inmediately change the experince to less than a year until get it.

It's also strongly recommended to apply a few week after complete a year to avoid some common issues

Hi,

I got the invitation to apply today,
While filling out the personal information section, I have to report the funds that I will be bringing in Canada. I have been working in Canada over a year on a Post Graduate work permit. I do not have supporting documents from my employers back home as discussed before on this forum, I left that info out of my express entry (EOI) but when I was accepted into the pool, I met both FSW and CEC criteria.
I want to apply under CEC, what do you guys suggest. CIC website says that you don't have to show funds if you applying under CEC or have arranged employment. I was never asked during the process about which stream I am applying through. what do you guys suggest?

In EE profile I remember being asked about funds. I wrote down some amount instead $0 so I was asked for POF after got ITA CEC, not a big deal but a lot of extra paperwork

Youready ITA doesn't said under which steam you should apply?

CEC is easier, no funds, lower CLB... so if you can choose (I don't know if you can do it) go for CEC

When you get the ITA, it tells you which stream you are eligible for. You don't have the option, IRCC tells you.

In the case where you are eligible for both CEC and FSW, the default option is CEC.

How long it take you to receive the ITA after you submited your application?
Also what is your score?
Thank you,

Can someone point me to what the format of employment reference letter is or give me one if they have. I need to get employment reference from my Canadian employer for CEC, what details to include? does this have to be addressed to CIC ?

Thank You,

Doesnt say or let me choose but I learnt that if you qualify for CEC over any other program, they take you in for CEC.

Thank you,

I got it in the next rounds/draws for ITA once I got the PNP.

My score was bumped up because of PNP, which alone is 600 CRS points. Last ITA cut off was 483

Hi all, I have a question reg work experience..
In CIC website it is mentioned full time = 30hrs/weeks ; 1year of employment = 1560hrs
based on this I have the below question.

I started working from 25th May 2015 till date i worked for 73weeks 3days..

a) as per my agreement if i calculate 40hrs/weeks I've worked for 2920hrs
[1560(1year) + 1160hrs].If I work for 200 more hrs, i will complete my 2years experience by
end of Nov.
b) on an avg. every week i have worked for 50hrs, and I have these hours mentioned on my
pay check.
If I count on this basis (50hrs/week) I have already completed 2years of employment.
c) do we need to calculate our experience based on calendar??
(May2015-May2016=1year and May2016-May2017=2nd year)???

How should we enter our experience in EE profile?? considering a/b/c??

Please guys.. need your suggestions/help.
Thank you

I will be the bad guy to break this news to you. Option C is the way to calculate your points for Work Experience. If you have a full time job, hours/week doesn't matter.
