Guys, I just checked the current approvals from other groups.

AOR - 4th Oct 2021
1st Medical and Biometric passed - 8th Nov 2021
2nd Medical - 9th Sept 2022
Portal Email - 21st Oct 2022
Portal Credentials - 23rd Oct 2022
eCOPR - Awaiting

Looking at the current processing dates, this may realistically take another year to get our approvals.

It depends as Sean Fraser has publicly said that new Applications since July 2022 will be processed in standard time frame in 6 months or lese so past processing time may not be true for us. I see on this forum some July/Aug AORs have received BIL/MEP already

I wish it is true that EE processing is completed in 6 months. Even I got the BIL updated (R10 completed). Even they had the BIL completed with in 2 months, but the real waiting started from then. It went for year.

My very close friend applied under CEC in Sept 2021 and got his COPR in Jan 2022 and his PR card in Feb 2022 and he applied while living and working in Montreal( he added loe of intent of leaving Quebec) so I guess it varies from application to application and may even depend on complexity of each application etc

Wow this is exactly what I am doing right now! Hope my case also follows this timeline.

IRCC requested for additional information a week after updating the Biometric information. Does it mean the processing starts from the scratch?

AOR: 29/Sep/2022
Medical and Biometrics: 25/Oct/2022

I got an email saying there was a change on my application the next day(26th) of medical passed, but nothing changed on my status.
Do you guys think it was just a delayed email for the medical pass? Or could it be a ghost update?
As far as I know, my background check was 'We are processing your background check.' from the start, and haven't changed.
