Yes, your case is different because upload will be fine. But when we need to send physical photo not sure if we can use same photo if it crosses 6months.

Yea.. physical photo would be different. I would prefer to click recent photos if you have to send physical photos just to be on safe side.

General question - when you call IRCC, is there any difference between what the agent can see and what I could see on the portal?
When I called last week, the agent told me any update should be reflected in the portal quickly. I am patiently waiting for the update but eligibility and securities are still under review... AOR is Sep 9. Seems lots of people have some updates and I am worried something wrong with my application.

Is this because I currently live in Quebec? I submitted the intention letter in the mid Feb when requested (I am planning to leave out of Quebec). Any advice is appreciated!

Question regrding COPR:
I got the COPR number in portal on last Friday but haven’t got the COPR letter yet. My SIN is expiring on end of this month. Will I be able to renew my SIN with virtual COPR number or I need the COPR letter. My employer is gonna ask me for my new SIN. What should I do now? I am thinking to give IRCC a call tomorrow.

Same situation like you. I called the agent and they told me to wait for 2 weeks to receive the COPR email. If not received then contact the agen back again to follow up.

1. Best is to call IRCC and ask them, I got 1 GU and everything was passed.
2. According to requirements, the photo should not be older than 6 months.
3. It depends on you local VO, some received within a month and some are waiting for longer time.

For me it took 13 days to receive portal email.
All Stages Passed: April 10th
Portal Email: April 23rd (replied back with information in 2 hrs)
Portal Credentials: April 24th

I called IRCC today to learn that my other steps have passed/completed and security not started yet.
AOR: 23 Sep; +1 dependent; inland

How did you manage to reach them? I tried to reach them 3 times but ran into the same "We are too busy now. Try again after sometime" message.

I was hoping to at least schedule a call back but didn't get that option too.

Finally managed to schedule a call back.

I called them at around 8:30 am. An agent attended the call after 16 mins wait time. Did not opt for call back.

Mine took 4-5 days approximately. When I called on April 20 not started and April 24 pass.

Thanks. Do you have any dependent in your profile? Trying to understand if it takes lesser time for single applicants and more for others.

AOR-Sep 21 (CEC Inland with 2 dependents)

When I logged in today, it showed Application updated instead of submitted. When I looked at the individual stages, I don't see any change.

This is the first GU I have noticed.

I talked to an IRCC agent and she confirmed that all the stages have passed. It looks like all of them passed on the same date Apr-21.

Primary VO - Ottawa
Local VIO - Etobicoke

How long does it take after the stages have passed for application approval?
