May I ask why did you choose to ask for GCMS? I mean, your AOR is september so, how long should we wait before asking them? thanks

Recommendation is after 3 months from your aor, so that there is some progress to review in the notes
Under question "What type of information are you requesting?" You have to choose "Access to Information Act" and then you will easily understand what options to choose further.
As @ishakeshavan said "humans are no longer patient enough" that's right. One of the reasons to order GCMS note but my main reason was I just want to know what is the status of my file at this point when almost everything is completed/submitted from my end. In CIC account, there are only standard terms so GCMS is the only way to know current exact status of your file. Also, I don't think so that there is any recommended period of ordering GCMS notes. It totally depends on you, when you feel, you want to know the status of your file.
I too ordered GCMS notes on November 18th.. also note that its going to take about a month for GCMS notes.. planning to order every few weeks, just to make sure of any additional information or document if they are looking from me
I don't see ordering GCMS notes every week is Good idea. If they require anything they will contact you and allow sufficient time to submit requested information. That is only my suggestion, rest is upto you.
I was exepmted from biometrics but the references were updated only once the medical was approved and passed/
I was exempted because I already gave them for my work permit last year. So once my medical was passed and updated, they updated the same day my biometrics and you can see on the right corner under your express entry numeber et IUC, your biometrics references. Hope it helps. I waited like one mont/ one month and half for that. Some who got to do the biometrics with an appointment seem to have them updated right away.
It generally gets updated within few hours. I am stating this based on other threads I have read here and my own experience.
