Even though call center agent might say that security has not started, there will be a lot of activity that will already be going on in the background. We have had several people who showed status of Security not started but then it suddenly got flipped to passed within a day. So the question of how long security will take is very subjective

GOt my PR today. Seems like the update I received on 12 th April 2021 was Security Pass.

Congratulations! I actually thought about you few days ago, I know we have the same timeline and I was thinking once you get your application approved then hopefully mine is on the way too.

Got COPR email today.. here are my timelines..
AOR: 01 Sept 2020
CEC/Inland/Ottawa/with dependents
Only GU: 16 Apr, all stages completed
Profile approved: 19 Apr (got call from ircc)
COPR email: 21 Apr

Have you received any GU

Yup i received the first GU on april 13 noon and called customer service, not actually clear whats going on in my file cause cust rep only said its still on process and nothing much changed on my account eligibility still recomended passed and criminality and security still on progress.
Then got 2nd GU on april 14 night but decided wont be calling IRCC anymore and wait till the approval comes.
the additonal document that I submitted last february 8 is still showing review " the additonal docs is for the RPRF and for the NOn accompanying declaration form for my step daughter's dad.

Just called IRCC. All my steps are passed including Security. Just waiting for final decision now. AOR SEP 9th.
