Hey Guys,

Hope everyone is having a good day!

Called IRCC today to get the latest status:

AOR: NOV03 2020 (CEC/ Single Applicant)
Eligibility Passed
Crimilaity Passed
Security NOT STARTED
CPC OTTAWA

Security is at NOT STARTED for 3 weeks now, since the eligibility and criminality passed (around May 07). Let's see... this wait is excruciating.

Pls what does it mean that your application is in your secondary office Etobicoke? Someone pls help

I read in many places that Etobicoke does virtual landing process via the portal. So this means, probably your application is ready to be finalized with virtual landing.

I don't think so. Based on what ppl said in the forums, the VO will send you an email asking for some of your details and then another email with the new portal credentials. You are supposed to login, confirm you are in Canada and upload the photos there. At this stage, they share the COPR. So I assume that's when they do the final approval. Some ppl saw slight deviations, however this is what's been experienced by the majority. Hope that helps.

Hi, firstly congratulations to all who have received their confirmation emails!

My AOR is Nov 23rd 2020, just wondering if there are more people like me waiting for confirmation email from November 2020.

There are a lot of us still here waiting. In the last 10 days, many October applicants got their approval and some Nov too but suddenly things seem to be on hold. It has to be right on Nov batch!
I think they are doing all the changes because of all the complaining and it's about time for them to make it more efficiently.
I were really hopeful last week when I see couple of us AOR Nov 20, 24 got it done.
Let's just add another 2 weeks for the rest of us to wait and see.
